Who We Are
The Lovington Public Library District serves an area with a population of 1,954. The libary is located in a building expressly designed for that purpose following a fire in 1985 which destroyed the former library and its contents. The library occupies 3,600 square feet and includes adult and youth areas, a reading area, and a meeting room. The library is totally accessible with a handicapped parking space behind the building. The staff includes a full-time Library Director and a part-time Library Assistant.
